Program objective:

The aim of the newsletter is to provide up-to-date information for organizations, which have no, or limited access to the Internet, but do have an e-mail address.

The mass of information sent to the NIOK Foundation is sorted, systematized and grouped under different categories, then forwarded either to civil organizations on the mailing list or to those who take an interest in the civil sector in order to whet their appetite for information Attention is focused primarily on news; grants; drafts of laws; tips on accounting and taxation; and issues that are of interest to non-profit organizations all over the country.

Duration:

The Newsletter has been sent out biweekly since September 2000.

Achievements:

Sections are: domestic news, domestic events, news from abroad, calls for proposals, interesting websites, news from Budapest and Pest county, regional news, trainings, job opportunities, reading matter. The individual newsletter enables us to send readers a selection of the news most relevant to them.

Assessment: Free subscriptions increased from 5,300 (beginning of 2007), to 8,500. However, the newsletter is being read by twice as many people - mainly members of non-profit organizations.
