Within the framework of the project NIOK is maintaining the Hungarian Philanthropy Portal, which provides information, background and surface for all CSOs in Hungary for their fundraising activities, and service for potential donors to make donations through Internet-provided opportunities and provides information (both legal, technical and on the target group) for their decision making on philanthropic activities.

The portal helps CSOs and individuals to make easy, frequented, transparent, accountable connection through online systems. The portal enables CSOs to present their needs for in-kind donations, and also a surface enabling online money transfer is under elaboration. The potential donors can place their offers on the portal, besides choosing from the 'wish-list', to which offers CSOs can hand in their suffestion for usage.

The project is not only about providing the infrastructure, but it puts emphasis on promotion among target groups – mainly among individuals but also among company decision makers, and on creating partnerships with high-coverage media to involve potential donors, in order to raise awareness about the importance of philanthropy in Hungarian society in the media.
